Context This term is used time and again to describe pockets/compartments on pilot cases/doctor's bags/rucksacks etc. in a catalogue translation I am doing. The pockets are not lockable, it just means they can be closed, rather than being open to the elements. I have played with 'closable' but it just sounds a bit odd. Anyone have any better ideas?
