Tomguide Translations has had experience in translating since 1995. We began with translating manuals for car-audio, audiovisual equipment, office equipment, professional audio equipment, etc. In the early days the source texts were available as hard copies only, so they could not be edited and all graphics had to be processed by physical paste and copy method using scissors and glue. These times are over and we can offer full processing in Gimp, InDesign, Inkspace, etc.

We also translated much of general translations, economy, law and books. We are able not only to translate, but also do all the graphic and DTP stuff such as turnkey manuals.

Using the CAT tools is a must and we offer translating in Trados Studio 2009, Worfast Pro, SDLX or Across 5.0.

All these tool also provide a perfect quality control and spell check, so the resulting translation is checked for double spaces, placeables (=expressions with numbers, etc.), tag match, consistency, etc. We can also use customer provided terminologies that can be loaded into the CAT tools. CAT tools are a must!
