Ricardo Albuquerque Gonçalves

I'm a 41 years old Portuguese translator and proofreader.                                                   

I started my carrer In 1997,as a journalist, after majoring in Communication Sciences at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, but  I've been doing English-Portuguese and Spanish-Portuguese translations and proofreading ever since, both in my previous jobs and as a freelancer.

Since April 2006, I'm exclusively dedicating to translation and proofreading, for companies such as Repsol YPF (Oil and gas industry), Nokia, Nielsen, CB&I (Construction), Saxo Bank and IFC Markets (Forex) or Leya (Portuguese leading publisher). I also translate films and documentaries.

I'm now an Apogee Certified Translator and I've just finished translating the 3d crime novel from Swedish bestselling author Camilla Läckberg - The Stonecutter.
