What should be the most understandable translation into Spanish? Or should it be left as is? Thanks! ;)

Estoy de acuerdo con Carl. Debe ser : SE presentó. En el original en inglés también falta FOR. Debería ser :"sat FOR an exam"

It should read: sat FOR gcse examinations, I think.

Where did you guys get the idea that this proverb is from Colombia? Not.

This is exactly what I was trying not to use. But I guess there's no way out of it. "Those places" sounds too colloquial, rather informal and non-specific, especially considering this is going to be in a museum.
