Не могу согласиться со словом "единомышленник" в данном контексте. Термин "big tent" как раз предполагает объединение людей с разносторонними взглядами. Это антоним термина "single-issue", который предполагает наличие общей идеологии и т.д.
В целом ваш вариант хороший. Вот только я бы заменил слово "единомышленник".
В статье говорится о привлечении/включении разносторонних участников, а не единомышленников; цель-расширение круга путем привлечения самых разнообразных участников, а не увеличение числа участников-единомышленников. Согласие с Андреем в отношении "единомышленников".
