Oct. 10, 2006, 00:28 GMTRelated question Gloss quickly
aflorar brevemente

Sep. 7, 2006, 09:57 GMTRelated question Portuguese offshore company
'uma sociedade ser accionista ou administrador'
I must say this sound a bit odd... by itself, the phrase does not make much sense, perhaps there is more information before or after it, which makes it clearer.

forma de obrigar a sociedade
I don't know the English term for this, but I can try to shed some light on the Portuguese meaning: it refers to the way a company assumes responsability, specifically, who signs on behalf of the company (if x or z administrator, or any number of combined ...

Nov. 16, 17:41 GMTRelated question roubo a transeunte
I haven't a clue how it is in Dutch, can only say that 'transeunte' is a passer-by, someone walking in the street. In English is something like "Passer-by robbed" if it helps.

Nov. 13, 19:56 GMTRelated question Button head cap screw

Jul. 9, 15:22 GMTRelated question Cross-industry solution smarter planet definition

May. 14, 15:52 GMTRelated question lei travao
As far as I understood after reading the relevant articles, the law prevents local governments (autarquias) from receiving a quota higher than those 5% from IRS revenue. It has a blocking effect. Not sure if this helps, I don't know whether there is an ...

Nov. 16, 2006, 12:36 GMTRelated question Sinal
"pôr nome ou sinal por baixo de..." Keith, if I understood it well, this is when the signing person does not know how to write their name, using a cross instead (much used in the past, when many people were illiterate). Does not seem very likely here... ...

Nov. 16, 2006, 10:45 GMTRelated question Sinal
Sinal is a down payment. I just do not see how it fits the Certificate of Registration, unless that envolves an expensive and rather long term procedure. BTW, Laurent, I googled it and got no relevant definition, just medical "signs" or"simptoms" and ...
