Context
In yesterday's Wall Street Journal Bret Stephens quotes the late Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci as saying Goodists are people who believe all conflict stems from avoidable misunderstandings. Evil springs from technologies, systems, complexes (as in military-industrial) and everything else except from the hearts of men, where love abides. They mistake wishes for possibilities and put a higher premium on their own moral intentions than on the efficacy of their actions. They champion education as the solution, whatever the problem, and they very much want to be seen as good by all. Many Nobel Peace prize winners (not all) might be included (think Jimmy Carter)

bondosistas ou benevolistas
TcTerms Source Question View the question ___________ Entry in TCTerms English-Portuguese Glossary.
