Context igh Vibration Trips for enclosed gear sets. (Last Revised 26 September 2008)
High vibration trip devices should be installed on the gear sets of the raw and cement mills as well as on the gear set on the main drive of the kiln. Monitors should be set to shut the units down if vibration exceeds limits.
High vibration trips have already been installed on the following equipment:
- Main ID fan
- Clinker cooler fan
