An insurance document, in which an settlement is made between an insurer and policyholder regarding a disputed claim. The policyholder is also trying to obtain compensation from the person(s) responsible (third party) for the damage. Is "frais de procédures de recours" talking about some type of legal proceeding? Someone has told me that it is not - that it could be referring to a claim against the third party, but I'm now totally confused.

Compte tenu qu'un recours est engagé par la société XXX contre le ou les auteurs présumés responsables des dommages aux marchandises expédiées... I wonder if this "recours" is a legal action or claim. That would help me translate "frais de procédures de recours"
