The whole sentence here is "Le bailleur déclare que le bien objet des présentes n'entre pas dans le champ de l'application des articles [...] de Code de l'environnement". I sort of know what this means and have started " The lessor states that the property which is the subject of this contract (comes under the area of application of Articles [...] of the Environment Code)" but I hate the bit in brackets and feel sure it can be vastly improved. Has anyone come across this before? Note also that underneath there is an identical sentence but in the negative i.e "n'entre pas dans le champ ...etc" (the lessor has to tick the appropriate box) so the translation will have to be expressed negatively as well.
falls within/does not fall within the scope of the articles
