WAP-Enabled Phones

You can now get last jobs published on the site on your cell phone or other WAP-enabled mobile device.

WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol that is a set of specifications for developing web applications for wireless devices. The WAP protocol is similar to other technologies used on the Internet. The key difference is that WAP is optimized for narrow band communication channels and for to small display devices such as mobile phones or PDAs. If you have a WAP-enabled phone you can view selected site pages written in WML (Wireless Markup Language).

WAP was designed by Unwired Planet, Motorola, Nokia and Ericsson to provide services equivalent to a Web browser with some mobile-specific additions for wireless content delivery on the next generation of mobile communicators. A mini-browser is an integral part of WAP enabled phones and other devices.

Motorola Phone

Our new link for WAP-enabled devices at http://www.translatorscafe.com/default.wml gives you the most recent jobs published on TranslatorsCafe.com.

If you don't have a WAP phone or another WAP-enabled mobile device (for example, PDA with a WAP browser), you can view such pages using a WAP-enabled browser. Click here to test your browser. If you see on your browser a message formed by the WML script that asks you what you want to do with the file, then your browser does not support WAP.

If you want a browser that can handle WAP, try the Opera browser.

Click here if you use a browser that can handle WAP, for example the Opera browser, to return to pages designed for mobile devices.
