Previous career overview:
Having engaged in 1) int'l trading for two years and 2) Japanese/English technical writer for three years with a company contracted with Japanese audio device giants; having general knowledge in merchandises (from small mechanical parts to generators) and in products themselves whose manuals I wrote.
Started working as a freelance translator 14 years ago. Most of previous projects (for the biggest software company, the world leading database house, etc.) involved Trados (Workbench and TagEditor) when translating.
Previous projects consisted mainly of translation and proofreading of manuals for IT (software or hardware) and for audio devices from English into Japanese.
