EXPERIENCE AS TRANSLATOR:

I have more than 25 years of experience with translations at my regular jobs and as a freelance translator for combination of the three languages: English, Slovenian and Urdu.

(1999 - 2005) working as full time freelance translator.
(1996-1999) employed in CIC- Centre for International Competitiveness as Research Manager. The job also involved: translation of studies and reports of European Commission, GD, WB. etc., translation of articles and research papers in the field of telecommunication, energy, management, transport, banking and others.
(1978-1995) Translation of technical reports, project documents, tender documents, operation and maintenance manuals etc. through out my employment in industry.
(1978 - 1999) Occasional freelancing for various other companies (technical documents, articles in the field of marketing, management and economics)

Translation into English

· Translation of Users Manuals – From 1978 to 1995 while working in Slovenian manufacturing and construction companies, I translated Users’ Manuals of various machineries in to English. Machinery included: excavator, fork lifter, stone crushers (of various kind), elevators, cranes and hydraulic hammer.

· Translation of technical documents – 1978 to 1995 while working as R&D Engineer, I translated technical documents as drawings, specification, calculations of material strength, bill of material, safety projects, etc. for projects being carried out abroad.

· Translation of contracts – 1971- 1993 translation of contract documents.

· Translation of management consulting projects – 1996 – 1999 while employed in CIC-Center for International Competitiveness, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

· Translation of Company Status – into English for CIC.

· Translation of Publicity and introduction material for CIC into English.

· Translation of Seminars – Translation of those lectures which were in Slovenian language, translated to English for publishing proceeding of seminars in English language.
