I was born and grew up in the North of France, in a region called "Côte d'Opale". From Boulogne-sur-Mer surroundings, you usually have a bright view of England. It is also quite close to Belgium. It is now called a Euroregion. This is one of the places which decided my vocation. Later on, I went southward to make it with Spanish too! I am currently living in Galicia (Northwest Spain) but I often travel to France.

EXPERIENCE AS A TRANSLATOR
I started with general translating in 1998 and I actually started to work full-time on translation and proofreading from May 2001 (traineeship alongside BNP Paribas London branch's translation team, which proved to be a great experience).
I have been working as a translator and proofreader in Spain afterwards, first as an in-house (AENA Internacional) and since June 2003, as a free-lancer (translating, proofreading, linguistic testing). In my first years as a freelancer, I have been working equally in general, technical, legal and financial translating and equally too from English, Spanish and Italian into French. Willing to increase the quality of the services I provide and due to an ongoing demand, I presently focus on legal and financial translating as a field of expertise and on the English into French and Spanish into French combinations, based on my educational background and past in-house experience. I keep on training attending training sessions on financial and legal translating, translating business and translation tools.
I am currently set up near Vigo, Southern Galicia (NW Spain), travelling a lot (I spend 2 to 3 months in France each year).
I work with corporate editing services, translation agencies, universities, NGOs and companies based in Europe (France, Spain, Ireland, Switzerland, Italyand UK) and in the USA.
I am a member of ASETRAD (Spanish Association of Translators and Interpreters).
