Most of my professional life has been concentrated around three areas;

1. The automotive businesses, as a journalist, editor of several automotive-related magazines, manager of public and governmental affairs for one of the world's largest automotive companies, and as a translator and linguist. This has given me expertise in translating product brochures, user manuals, woprk shjop manuals, various types of courses, from technical to commercial.

2. Public affairs and media relations, as journalist and editor of several magazines and as public affairs consultant, owner of PR-consultancy and as manager of public and governmental affairs. One of my specialities is writing,  rewriting and translating press relases in accordance with the expectations of the Norwegian media.

3. Media, as journalist and editor within a broad specter of the media world, from reporting in daily newspapers to reporting and editiing for weekly magazines and trade magazines.

4. Litterature. I have a solid basis for translating and rewriting litteratur

I have been working as copy-writer for advertising agencies, and have both written and translated marketing material.

Over the last years I have also done translations directly into webpages, with a speciality for interactive courses and marketing-oriented texts.

As a writer and translator I am known for a solid linguistic basis, a broad knowledgebase and a total commitment to deadlines.

In addition to translation I can do writing and rewriting of press releases and marketing material.

My rate varies between €0,10 to €0,15 ($0,14 to $0,20) depending on volume to be translated, complexity of the text and available time given for the project. Larger assignments will be the subject to individual negotiations.
