PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

1st April 2009: Registered on the Spanish Register of Professionals as an Interpreter and Translator (Ministerio de Hacienda de España). Since then, cooperation with several translation agencies located all around the world. Please find hereunder a basic list of the fields I have specialized in as a professional freelance translator.

Main fields of expertise:

• TECHNICAL TRANSLATION: Translation of user manuals and technical brochures on household appliances and professional machines (mainly, but not only DE>IT and ES>IT; over 100,000 words).
• EMPLOYMENT POLITICS: Translation of several documents published by EZA, the European Centre for Workers’ Questions, as well as of similar texts regarding national and European policies about labour market and employment (mainly, but not only DE>IT; over 90,000 words).
• LEGAL TRANSLATION: Translation of contracts, agreements, terms of sales and legal texts of different nature (EN>IT; ES>IT; DE>IT over 50,000 words).
• TOURISM: Translation of websites and commercial texts concerning travel agencies and companies in the hotel business (ES>IT, DE>IT; over 50,000 words).
• LITERARY TRANSLATION: English to Italian translation of Harry’s Business Primer for Kids, e-Book for children written by the American author Dr. Irving David Shapiro with the cooperation of Mrs Gail McLeod.
