Translator with the Library of the German Association of Technical Safety (TÜV), Berlin-Brandenburg  branch, drafts of IEC and ISO standards, technical safety reports of nuclear power stations. 1989-91.

Junior translator with a large manufacturer of oil hydraulics. Manuals, contracts, standards. 1986/1989

MA in translation studies at Leipzig University (1986).

Sound background in engineering, electronics, localisation, medical equipment, and related subjects. Well-versed in commercial and legal literature.
