I am a prompt and accurate multi-lingual translator who has done jobs for numerous translation agencies, taught language classes, and done volunteer interpreting for the city of Philadelphia.  I hold Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Russian, with a minor in Italian, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University in Philadelphia.  I am skilled and passionate about language, whether writing, reading, editing or analyzing.

Professional Experience

Temple University - January 2009 – Present: Spanish Translator

Working with the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts of Temple University, accomplished Spanish scholar Teresa Soufas, on translations of 17th-century Spanish plays for a new book to be published by the University of Chicago Press.

Self-Employed – Current: Freelance Translator (Spanish, Russian, Italian, French -> English)

Providing various clients with accurate and prompt translations of documents in many different fields, including telecommunications, medicine, law, engineering, and official documents.  Examples of past jobs and clients include: overview of new telecommunications system for the Colombian government, translations of the molecular data sheets of an Italian pharmaceutical company for Pfizer, and translations of fashion articles for a Russian magazine.
