Mechanical engineer and programmer
15 years, freelance translator 15 years.
Work history
1975-1980 Analyst, designer, and product developer, Förenade Fabriksverken (FFV).
Developed products and mechanical devices. Participated in studies on implementation of CAD/CAM systems.
1980-1982 Designer and tester, ABB Robotics AB. Developed prototypes for the IRB 90 spot welding robot. Designed mechanical and electrical components. Tested prototypes.
1982 Designer and tester, ASEA Tooling AB. Designed press tools for plastic products and evaluated CAD/CAM systems for tool development.
1982 Instructor, Zimmermanska skolan, a technical secondary school. Teacher in technology and in engineering.
1982-1990 Owned and operated Ingenjörsbyrån ERKON AB. Developed software and designed mechanically engineered products and customized machines.
Since 1991 Freelance translator, technical manuals from English, German and Finnish into Swedish. Specializing in documentation for mechanical engineering, computers, electronics and programming.
