1986-2009: Worked free lance as translator (English / Italian / Arabic / Spanish). Such work included translating a myriad of commercial and legal / judicial documents, running courses in such languages, and serving as interpreter in forums similar to fully-fledged tribunals
1990-1994: Worked as secondary school teacher in foreign languages (Arabic et al) at the 1991-1994: Worked part-time with CORE (Co-operative for Research and Education), KhotsoHouse, Marshall Street, Johannesburg, as researcher and writer of publications on political, economic and educational issues. The publications were sold on a subscription basis to a host of organisations, primarily NGO’s, both local and international, such as the ILO.
