JOB EXPERIENCE

1986-2009: Worked free lance as translator (English / Italian / Arabic / Spanish). Such work included translating a myriad of commercial and legal / judicial documents, running courses in such languages, and serving as interpreter in forums similar to fully-fledged tribunals

1990-1994: Worked as secondary school teacher in foreign languages (Arabic et al) at the 1991-1994: Worked part-time with CORE (Co-operative for Research and Education), KhotsoHouse, Marshall Street, Johannesburg, as researcher and writer of publications on political, economic and educational issues. The publications were sold on a subscription basis to a host of organisations, primarily NGO’s, both local and international, such as the ILO.

1995: Admitted as advocate on 19 May 1995

Enrolled as pupil in July 1995

Successfully passed the National Bar Examination in November 1995

Commenced work as advocate at the Johannesburg Bar on 4 December 1995

4 Dicembre 1995 – 2009: Practised as advocate at the Johannesburg Bar, then at the Independent Bar
