Before venturing on the path of professional translating I have worked in finance, credit management, debt collection, banking, sales, telesales and customer service in Ireland and in The Netherlands. These positions in various industries such as telecommunications, information technology, banking and business directories make me a very interesting translator for small and medium enterprises who have a requirement for a thorough and accurate translation of their documents, websites, terms and conditions and publicity material. I don't use Computer Aided Translation Tools, as they have a limiting effect on the instinctive and natural choice of words when I am translating. My motto: Translation - So much more than substituting language A with language B.
