EDUCATION

UNIVERSITY: I have studied at the Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples, where I got my degree in 1976 with 105/110. My degree is in Languages, Literatures and Institutions of Western Europe, four-year language: English, two-year languages: Italian, French, Spanish and Swedish. Among the subjects I specialized in there were also: didactics, linguistics, glottology, Italian literature, history, ethnology and many others.

LICEO SCIENTIFICO: I attended the Liceo Scientifico “E. Fermi” in Gaeta and graduated with 7/10.

COURSES ABROAD

1970-1974: I lived in the U.S.A. where I attended courses of writing, composition, Swedish and Spanish at Long Beach City College, California.

1968-1969: I spent a year in Paris, France, where I attended the courses of the Alliance Francaise to improve my French.

1966-1967: I spent a year in the U.K. to follow a course of specialization in the English language.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

At present I teach English language and literature at the Scientific Lyceum ‘E. Fermi” of Gaeta, Italy.

In the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007 I was an Italian lecturer at the University of Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

In the Academic year 2003-2004 I was an Italian lecturer at the University “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” of Iasi, Romania.

From 1979 to 2003 I have been a Senior High School teacher in Italy

OTHER WORKING EXPERIENCES

During my career I have been a free-lance translator. I translated texts of literature, archeology, medicine and architecture for authors who desired to be published abroad and university students. Apart from these subjects I specialize in IT, business, commerce, law, medicine, biology and chemistry, computer technologies, banking, tourism and travel, technology (general), journalism.
