Living and born in Bogotá, capital city of Colombia (South America). More than 2 million words have passed by my mind during the last two years, either as Active Translator or as Manager for Big Projects proceeded by our Four Translator Teamwork, leaving a huge experience and knowledge in translating texts mainly within the fields of Automobile, Technical Manuals, Dentistry and Medicine and Natural Sciences (among others of less intensity), which added substantially to the intellectual baggage gotten during fifteen years of professional translation activity, plus about thirty five years of dedicated learning to English and Spanish languages.

Started studies on English language by building up a strong foundation on lexicon as a way to understand and make rough translations of Science Literature I was working on at the time; continuing on English Grammar, Syntax and Spelling studies which led me to start doing the first acceptable translations. Practice was gotten through reading dozens of books dealing with items such as Science (mainly Biology and its several related branches) and Literature, a habit never faded to these days. Through the years I focused on strong application to English Reading, Listening, Comprehension and Conversation, using the Web as source of learning material.
