Detailed Description and Voice Samples
While studying Germanic Studies at the University of Sheffield in
England, I spent one semester at university in Sweden, improving my
language skills, and one semester working for a translation company in
Berlin. This work placement made me decide to become a translator and I
moved back to Berlin to take a job with Think Global GmbH, a major
translation company there, specialising in technical and marketing
texts. I also work freelance for various international translation
agencies.
I am still living and working in Berlin, Germany although my long term
plans include a year teaching in Korea and permanent relocation to
Vancouver, Canada.
