 Briefly :

Working as a french translator for a major multinationals I have 5+ experience working both as a freelancer and full time employee. I have voluntereed for NGOs such as Edupax, Orphanaid Africa and the english edition of the weekly Le monde diplomatique.

In addition, I've also collaborated in the translation of a collection of articles- 'Au coeur de la planète islam' by Wendy Kristiansen.

 

My areas of expertise in translation include –

Journalism / media: Press releases, feature stories, announcements

Web-site: translation using content management program, editing html code and country specific adaptation.

Software development: user manuals, software development, request for proposals and quotes, functional specifications, Change requests etc.

Legal: commercial contracts and agreements, patents.

 

My capacity is 2500 words per day, and rates vary according to the nature of text translated and the required time.
