1975-78 UPITN (forerunner of Worldwide Television News). Scriptwriter/Editor/Translator. Worked mainly as scriptwriter but occasionally translated commentaries from French and Russian into English.

1970-72 Foreign Broadcast Information Service, Kyrenia, Cyprus.

1968-70 Israel Government Press Office. Translator and editor, Hebrew to English. One of only two translators in the whole of Israel permitted to translate cabinet communiqués into English.

1965-68 Encyclopædia Judaica, Jerusalem, Israel. Editor and translator.

2001 Translation of law reports from the European Court of Human Rights for Sweet and Maxwell.

1990- present Translation for large number of agencies of various legal, medical and technical documents from French and Hebrew into English and Hebrew typesetting.


1985- present Conference interpreting in French and Hebrew (list of clients available on request, but including BBC and CNN).

1981-1985 Qualified Court interpreter, California state and district courts and U.S. Federal Courts, in French and Hebrew.

1981-85 Freelance translator and interpreter, employed by leading Los Angeles translation agencies, and translated Hebrew documents for companies and individuals outside California. Also examiner for Berlitz Translation Services for all applicants for work as Hebrew translators throughout the U.S.A.

1976-81 Freelance translator and interpreter for various companies. Main client was Société Arreco, 10 avenue Corbéra, Paris 75012, France. Translated plans and specifications and interpreted at negotiations with clients. Also worked for leading translation agencies and was a police and court interpreter, in French and Hebrew. Interpreted and translated documents in many civil and criminal cases.

1962-70 Israel: Freelance translator and conference interpreter in Israel in Hebrew and French into English. Employed by leading translation agencies in Jerusalem and many government departments.
