2006 - Worked as a freelancer with Atlas Translation Service, of California, U.S.A., in the translation of texts (from English into European Portuguese).

2006 - Worked as a freelancer with Agnew Tech-II, of California, U.S.A., in the translation and proofreading and editing of texts (from English into European Portuguese).

2000 and 2001 - Worked as a freelancer with Transperfect Translations International Inc., of New York, U.S.A., in the translation and proofreading and editing of texts (from English into European Portuguese), in the areas of Tourism and Statistics.

September 1999 to May 2000 - Training as a translator (in-house) at CICCOPN (the Vocational Training Centre for the Building and Public Works Industry of the North), doing translations from English into Portuguese and from French into Portuguese (training manuals in the area of Safety, Hygiene and Health in the Workplace; commercial/business correspondence), investigation related with translation (elaboration of glossaries), telephone contacts to foreign countries (in English) and proofreading/editing of texts.
