After spending 16 years working as a professional Translator, Senior Translator, Project Leader and Language Specialist with various translation companies in the Amsterdam area, on 1 January 2006 I set up my own freelance translation shop.

1998 – 2005:       WordHouse localisation bv, Amsterdam Zuid-Oost: Editor/language specialist, responsible for, among other things, editing and correcting the test translations and translations of colleagues and freelance translators, assessing translators, creating and managing glossaries, creating and maintaining translation procedures and style guidelines, assisting interns and evaluating translation and translation management software programs.
