• Teaching Experience

      •Trainer/Mentor, Office of Court Interpreter Services, Massachusetts Trial Court.             1986 to present.

Developed and offered a multilingual training & certification program (150 hrs) for interpreters seeking to be certified in the Massachusetts Court System.  Currently provide one-on one mentoring for simultaneous and consecutive interpretation as well as workshops on Spanish/English translation.

      •Adjunct Professor, Spanish Translation Certification Program, UMASS Boston.             2001 to 2006.

      Taught a 2 semester program (144 hrs) leading to a certificate in Spanish translation.
