Work Experience

Translation

- From October 2001, I have been working with Sefit, LaBiBi, C.D.L., Prodest and Rai Educaional Channel as a translator, video adaptor, and editor of translated texts for documentaries, movies, fictions, published by National Geographic Channel, History Channel, Planet, Rai Educational (La Storia siamo noi), A1, Discovery Channel and other themed digital channels, edited in Italy by Sky. I have translated and adapted or subtitled historical documentaries produced by Frontline, API Productions, Zero Hour and other international television or film agencies.

- From the summer of 2007 onward, I have collaborated with NCM Servizi. With this agencies I have translated and adapted the texts of the travel books Footprint, edited by White Star

- In the occasion of the FIFA World Cup Finals I worked as a translator in the project of translating the official FIFA World Cup website with Translation.com between May and July 2006. in the field of sports (football especially) I regularly collaborate with Parnassia Media Ltd.

- I work as a proof-reader of the Italian version of the questionnaires published by EOS Gallup Europe and TNS opinion (The European Omnibus Survey; Eurobarometer) and as adapter, translator and proof-reader for the advertisement agency Textappeal.

- I collaborate with various Theological Universities in the translation of texts from English to Italian and Italian to English and have matured then a very good knowledge of themes like Theology, Interreligious dialogue and Faiths.

I translated various articles of the Interdisciplinary Encyclopaedia of Religion and Science published by Urbaniana University

- From the summer of 1999 onwards, I have worked with various agencies, including: Urbaniana University Press; Rai Sat; Edizioni Associate; Ellemme Edizioni; Stream, in translating texts on the following themes: current affairs, sport, geography, travel, tourism, politics, history, theology, economics, electromechanics, mechanics.

Interpretation

From 1993 to today I have worked for agencies and various bodies in the

Area of simultaneous or consecutive interpretation English-Italian at conferences, interviews, round table discussions on themes such as international politics, inter-religious relations, religions and peace, ecology, theology, international politics and oil economy.

In addition, I regularly work on the translation of texts on the same themes.

I have acted as an interpreter in NGO missions in the following countries: Ireland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Russia, Syria, Israel, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Egypt, Tanzania, USA.

Work experience in areas other than translation

I collaborate as a free lance journalist, with international politics magazines, both Italian and European.
