Work Experience in Translation/Interpretation

 

November 2009 - Translation of two movies presented in DocLisboa 2009.

 

December 2009 – Court interpreter for British Journalists from the Daily Express, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror and the Sun in the libel action of the McCann’s against the former detective Gonçalo Amaral.

 

August 2009 - Translation of two feature films from English into Portuguese for Festróia, an International Film Festival that takes place in Tróia, Portugal for CRISTBET, Avenida dos Bombeiros, 3-B, 2775 Parede, Portugal.

 

July 2008 - Collaboration in a project which aimed to develop a voice recognition software for Microsoft. One of the tasks involved the transcription of the voice calls for European Portuguese and later on perform the QC of those transcriptions.

 

January 2008 - Translation, and spotting of two feature films for Fantasporto, an International Film Festival that takes place in Oporto, Portugal for CRISTBET, Avenida dos Bombeiros, 3-B, 2775 Parede, Portugal.

 

December 2006 - Translation from English into Portuguese of the file Corporate Standard "Commitment Authorization", Issue November 2006 for HENKEL IBÉRICA SA, Portuguese branch.

 

May 2005 - Software program translation (Microsoft Developer Studio generated resource script) from English into Portuguese for RAYMARK RCS EUROPE.

 

March 2005 - Translated a Services Agreement from English into Portuguese for a private client.

 

January and February 2005- Translation of three chapters of an encyclopaedia under the theme of the Ancient Egypt from Italian to Portuguese for VERBIS IBERIA, Lagoas Park, Edifício 8, 2740-268 Porto Salvo, Portugal.
