Translation and Translation Tools Experience
Jan. 1999 – Present	Freelance translator: Duties include translating, editing, proofreading, developing glossaries and TMs, and researching translation tool solutions. Translation tools consultant: Expertise stemming from work in various translation tool capacities at multiple translation companies, extensive personal use of translation tools in daily translation work, and ongoing research and testing on translation tools for professional and instructional use.
May 2004 – Present	Translation tools instructor: Tool-survey and tool-specific workshops (e.g. Wordfast) offered with co-sponsorship by the Bellevue Community College Translation and Interpretation Certificate Program and the Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society (NOTIS). Technology and terminology courses taught part-time as part of the BCC Translation and Interpretation Certificate Program.
