¨      Since July 2001, I am the pedagogical coordinator of the Alliance Française de Delhi.

¨      I am also a teachers’ trainer for initial as well as our own in-house on-going training; Alliance Française de Delhi is the Regional Centre for Initial Training of Teachers of French as a Foreign Language and is part of the Alliance Française Network in India, Nepal, Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh.

¨      Since 1990, I am in the translation cell of the Alliance Française and I have been doing translations as well as interpretations pertaining to various fields, eg., books for the United nations, aeronautics, information technology, websites of dotcoms, railways, cars, legal tenders, other legal documents, culture, articles for newspapers and magazines, films, cosmetics, Ministry of Tourism’s website, Shahnaz Husain products and labels, microsoft and so on.

¨      Since 2003, I have done interpretation and translation assignments for the various departments of the Embassy of France in India such as the book section, the Human Sciences centre, CEDUST, the commercial section, etc. and have acted as interpreter to illustrious French writers such as Daniel Pennac, Dominique Fernandez, etc.

¨      February 1997 - January 1997, Translator and office co-ordinator in an NGO (Human Rights Organisation) – WLUML (Women Living Under Muslim Laws) in their international  coordination office at Grabels, Montpellier, France.

¨      Since 1985, full time professor at the Alliance Française de Delhi: Teaching functions at levels 1, 2 and 3, conversation classes and initial and continuous training of Alliance Française teachers at Delhi and since July 2001, Pedagogical Coordinator of the Alliance Française de Delhi.
