EXPERIENCE :

• March 10th, 2003–... – Turkish War Colleges : Translations of various articles for quarterly bulletins, about international relations, war on Iraq, Turkey’s relations with its neighbors. Also helping the scholars in the academies for their lectures, by researching, collecting data and translating necessary articles.

• January–March 5th, 2003 – Doğan Online : Editing and translation of the official web site of Galatasaray Sports Club (www.galatasaray.org.tr) into English. Writing and editing news to be appear in the English and Turkish versions of the web site.

• 2006 December–... – e2 : Translation of the daily show “Ellen DeGeneres Show” without using scripts. 

• 2004–... – Discovery Channel : Translation of various documentaries and documentary series: Secret Plot to Kill Hitler, Unsolved History–Korean Air Disaster, The Toughest Tunnel, True Horror–Demons, Pagans (four episodes), Raw Nature (10 episodes), Bugging with Ruud (five episodes).

• 1999–... – NTV : Translations of various sport programs and documentaries: Road to Benelux (European Football Championship 2000), Behind Sydney 2000 (2000 Olympic Games), Gold Rush (Introduction to the Olympic Games), ATP Tennis Show, Ski Report, Match of the Century (Stars of Football), Road to Asia (FIFA 2002 World Cup), Trans World Sports, Futbol Mundial.

• 1999–2002 – cnbc-e : Translations and sub–titling of various films: Dirty Dancing, Leon, Rope, Raining Stones, Fall from Grace, Encounters, Girls in Prison, Hotel Sorrento, Bloodhounds 1 – 2, A Family for Joe, Spring, Three Godfathers.

• 2002 – Art Yapım : Translations of films for dubbing: Prime Suspect – Scent of Darkness, Prime Suspect – Inner Circles.

• 2002 – Imaj : Translations of various documentaries for National Geographic Channel: Braving the Darien Gap, Leonardo – The Man Behind the Shroud, Mystery Submarine: The Search for Swiss Air Flight 111, The Sea Hunters.

• 2001–2002 : Translation of a master thesis on the Relations Between EU and Turkey.

• 2001–2002 : Translation of various texts and articles for Melih Asik, Milliyet columnist: The articles especially on the September 11th terrorist attacks and aftermath, on the attitude of the US Government and on the anthrax attacks.

• 2001 : Gathering information for the book named 11 Eylül Gölgesinde Saddam (Saddam under the Shadow Of September 11th), written by Derya Sazak, Milliyet columnist, and published by Doğan Publishing: Gathering information about the Gulf War from the foreign press and translating the important parts of the books on the Gulf War and the attitude of the press towards war.

• 2001 : Taking part in a group for the purpose of translating a cartoon series, called Les Babalous, for a television channel.

• 2000 July–2001 October – Milliyet : Assistant to Derya Sazak, columnist in Milliyet newspaper: Doing the archive study for various articles, gathering the current news and information, finding and translating some articles from the foreign press.

• 1998 June–1999 May – Radikal : Intern in foreign news department of Radikal newspaper. Following the agenda, writing news for the paper, following foreign press regularly, translating articles for the comment columns (During this period, also writing a portrait of Yasser Arafat for the portrait of the week column).

• 1997 June–September – Denizli Textile and Ready – Made Clothes Exporters’ Union : Following the foreign press news and press bulletins on the subject of trade in the Union which operates within the Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade, translating the articles on the subject of trade, continuing the correspondence with the firms.
