PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

2001 to Present: Full-time free-lance translator. Very large number of projects completed, with extensive use of Trados and other CAT tools and handling of codes, and very high degree of client satisfaction and recurrence. Among the largest projects completed:
- The participation to a major SAP localization project for EXXON
- Localization of marketing brochures for Dow Corning, Euro Pool Systems and many other clients
- The full translation of the on-line Help of REVIT, architectural CAD software. For subsequent versions REVIT corp. assigned entirely to me the updates of User Interface and Online Help, for a total of about 160.000 words.

2001 to Present: Correspondent for Italy for the American classical music online magazine andante.com. Writing reviews and articles in the English language.

1999-2000: General manager of T&T s.r.l., Italian audio-visual programs production and Distribution Company. Development of contacts and working relationships with various international distributors and producers, and with the Italian broadcasters. Administration and general supervision over all activities.

1997-1999: Acquisition and sales manager for Minoa Media International, a Canadian TV and HV programs distribution Company, with full responsibility for the Italian language territories. This experience led to the creation of the new Italian company, T&T s.r.l.

1996-1998: Responsible for creating and maintaining the Web Site "Bolina Telematica" of the Italian Sailing Magazine Bolina (Italian and English. This is still partially visible today at http://www.bolina.it)

1993-1998: Free-lance Translation work for Decca, London, and other offices in Holland.

1993-1997: Free-lance Italian Editor, responsible for all the printed texts in Italian language published by the recording label Philips Classics Productions, a Division of PolyGram International Music B.V., Baarn, The Netherlands.

1988-1993: Full-time Italian Editor, responsible for all the printed texts in Italian language (original and translated) published by Philips Classics Productions, a Division of PolyGram International Music B.V., Baarn, The Netherlands. In this role, coordinated and supervised the work of about 30 freelance contributors, translators and assistants, under the tight deadlines of the golden age of CD, and devised the layout and content of the cover and inside of texts most Italian Opera and many others CDs.

1987: Supply Library Director at the Music Conservatory "L. Canepa" of Sassari, Italy.

1986-1987: Acting and piano playing in the theatrical piece Valentinfest, at the Roman theatres "L'Orologio" and "In Trastevere".

1984-1987: Teaching History and Theory of Music at various Roman private music schools.

VOLUNTARY WORK:

1993: Broadcast and presentation of Italian operatic music on a local radio programme for Italian expatriates, in collaboration with the Italian Culture Institute of Amsterdam.

1987-1988: Critical Edition of the "Lacrimosa e Amen" by Carlo Coccia, part of the Messa a Rossini premiered in 1988 under Helmuth Rilling at the Bach Festival of Stuttgart and recorded on CD 98.949, Hänsler Verlag, 1989 (cfr. Messa per Rossini, edited by Michele Girardi e Pierluigi Petrobelli,"Quaderno dell'Istituto di Studi Verdiani" 5, Parma-Milano 1988)

1987: Member of the scientific committee for the III International Study Congress on Corelli, Fusignano.

1987: Lecture at the Seminar on Musical Analysis organized by the University "La Sapienza" of Rome, Music Department, in conjunction with the Music Conservatory "Santa Cecilia" of Rome.
