Teresa Andrade

I am Teresa Andrade, a Portuguese citizen living currently in Berlin, Germany. I have been translating since 2006. Since I am self taught in French and English I started translating before enrolling at the University of Lisbon, where I graduated in Romance Languages and Literature. I came to Berlin on account of a scholarship for a post-grad program which now is completed.

 

My native languages are Portuguese and Spanish, at University I studied Italian and French along with Spanish and Portuguese and I had studied the latter post-grad program fully in English. The fields where I am expert are humanities in general, although I am also qualified to translate  texts on life, health and social and political sciences. I had translated essentially articles on education, labels, theater texts, articles related to the packaging industry and I had also transcribed and translated audio files with health related content and subtitled and translated videos on regenerative medicine.

 

I engage personally with each service with due research and dedication. Being a perfectionist I assure you the quality of each detail of the requested translation, moreover you can count on my flexibility and fast learning. My availability is full time.

 

I have excellent knowledge of Spanish and English, I have also competence on French and Italian. Here I can only submit my Spanish diploma since my English diploma (IELTS) is not updated;. Together with the Spanish language certificate I submit a declaration on how I hold a BA degree on Romance languages and Literature.
