2006-2007: Freelance Translator based in East Timor. Some of my Projects:
•Coordination of the European Union Parliamentary and Presidential Elections Reports. I have translated part of the reports and I was in charge for coordinating the other two translators work in order to assure terminology accuracy and consistency, and that the translation would be delivered on time to be presented on the next day.
•Translation of the CEDAW country report and Common Core Document (in close collaboration with the Portuguese Aid Agency - IPAD-, and UNFPA and UNIFEM advisors).
•Collaboration with the F2020 working group (Ministry of Defence) in the translation of documents, meetings interpretation, organization of events, drafting of minutes and other administrative tasks.
•Translation of several Sectorial Investment Programs for the Timorese Government.
•Several translations for the Timor Sea Office, oil government agency (PowerPoint presentations, pieces of legislation, technical documents, and other internal documentation).
•Several translations of reports for the Ministry of Education and other documents for PESP/IFU.
•Translation of several documents for the Human Rights Office (Office of the Prime Minister).
•Several translations of reports and other documents for the Office for the Promotion of Equality (in close collaboration with UNFPA advisors).
•Translation of several reports and legislation for UNICEF and UNIFEM.
