PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Swedish Translator at CLO EU/Translations Unit EU, Copenhagen Dec. 2005-2008/present.
Worked with the translation, editing and proofreading of books, manuals, training materials, lectures and film subtitling. I was employed there until summer 2008. I left CLO EU due to family reasons (mother stroke) but have since that time done work on and off for CLO EU on a freelance basis.

My main duty during this time was typesetting and design of promotional items, including prepress work. I was however getting more and more involved in translations work during this period as I had a natural knack for it and it was very much in demand. EDUCATION / TRAINING

At CLO EU I have had internal training concurrently with my work. This included advanced training in both English and Swedish language and grammar, and on technology of translations, with specific emphasis on accuracy and style.
