·         Provided interpretation and translation services between Spanish civil affairs teams  and the local Iraqi government and business bodies, and individual personnel including those in the health and infrastructure fields .

·         Provided project coordination between foreign and local agencies in the health, energy, and civil infrastructure sectors.

·         Translated a number of key project documentations and contracts.

·         Provided cultural and language training for project teams.

·         Became a reliable source for verbal and written communication for the foreigners and the local population in Najaf, Iraq.

·         Assisted with developing various programs for achieving the goals of public health initiatives set by the Department of Health.

·         Provided inter-department training on health issues and preventive measures. Conducted briefings on medical terminology.

            Freelance English Translation and Training Services

·         From May 2001 through January 2003, provided English language training for the technicians at the Prosthetic & Orthopedic division of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Focused on medical terminology and communication kills. 

·         From June 2005 through March 2007, provided supervisory services for the translation department of the a  General Foundation, and  national publication company.

·         Provided translations of contracts and publications from Arabic to English.

·         In October 2005, provided administrative support and coordination for the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq (IECI) for the general referendum on the constitution of Iraq.

·         Worked as a freelance medical interpreter for various medical facilities in Boston such as NEMC and Beth-Israel Hospitals, 2007.
