Free Lance Translator English-Spanish-French

During the last ten years, I have been working as a translator of many types of documents and as an independent collaborator to several business enterprises, organizations and individual clients located in the United States, France, Europe and Latin America.  I have also been in charge of revising and correcting manuscripts, writings  and texts  which have been previously translated by computerized automated programs.  Furthermore, I have also been involved in creating, drafting and editing multilingual web sites.

Independent Small Business Administrator

I manage my own small business importing handmade Mayan articles from Guatemala into France.  I am in charge of making the contacts and negotiating with the local artisans from several regions who specialize in different types of textiles and jewelry items.  I coordinate the purchasing orders, transportation and delivery.  I control inventories and prices, manage the bookkeeping, official forms and accounting systems, produce the catalogs including photos and detailed descriptions of each article and publish them into the E-boutique.  I also organize exhibitions, shows and events to promote and sell the products, participating in specialized markets and international festivals.

In addition to my working experience, I have also traveled through Europe, Latin America and USA.  These events have helped me to enrich not only my knowledge in foreign languages but have also improved my understanding of  the history, traditions and characteristics of  each region and town, enabling me to become more acquainted with the international audience to whom my translations are addressed.
