Wordfast can be used to translate HTML files. I will give you a short introduction in how to translate HTML files with Wordfast.
Open the HTML file
The first thing you need to do is to open the HTML file in Word. Then launch Wordfast from the Add-Ins menu.
Start a translation session
Now you can start a translation session by clicking on the translate icon or pressing Alt+Down. Wordfast immediately detects, that the document is an HTML document.
Tagging the document
Then, Wordfast asks you if the document should be tagged. Answer "yes".
Wordfast will tag the document and launch the translation session. All basic HTML tags like <p>, <a>, <b> etc. appear in red. All other HTML tags like <div>, <body> etc. appear in grey after tagging the document.
Translate the document
Continue with your translation until everything is translated. Set the cursor before a text segment and click the Translate icon on the toolbar or use Alt+Down to start the translation.
Do not modify or translate any of the HTML tags because these are used to format the HTML document.
Clean up the document
After translation, you need to clean the document and may update the TM.
