Forum Moderators

TranslatorsCafé.com forums are moderated. Moderators are volunteers who generously give their personal time to help TranslatorsCafé.com forum users. Moderators facilitate discussions by starting new topics, clarifying or focusing topics. Moderators act as peacekeepers and are here to ensure that all site members enjoy their visit. Moderators monitor forum posts and respond to complaints to keep posting free of undesirable content as described in the Forum Rules of Conduct and TranslatorsCafé.com Terms and Conditions of Use.

In order to accomplish these tasks, moderators have three essential abilities in the forums which they moderate: they can edit or delete any post, close or delete entire threads, or move threads to another forum where the discussion is more appropriate.

However, moderators cannot see everything. If you see something that is against the TranslatorsCafé.com Forums Rules of Conduct, please report it to one of the moderators or administrators. They will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis and take appropriate action where needed. Please note that decisions of TranslatorsCafé.com moderators are final.
