My experience is based upon more than 25 years working in the Quality Assurance dpt. of a steel foundry. I know a lot of things in-depth about Quality Assurance, metallurgy, material testing, foundry and machining. I know many Inspection Agencies like the TÜV, DNV, GL, ABS, EDF, RINA, LRS, DB, SNCF, CZ, Vincotte, Framatome as well as many International Standards, at least do I know how they are built - DIN, AFNOR, British Standards, ASTM, ASME, JIS, RCC M, RRC-EV, UIC ....
Since 2005 I have been working as freelance translator and I translate tourism related texts, marketing brochures, construction documents, website contents, instructions, specifications, letters. Moreover I evaluate marketing "inventions" and test dictionary features.
Upon request I deliver samples, indicate my rates or send you my CV. I don't mind doing a (small) test translation, should a special domain be involved.
