All Transloc translators hold a university degree and have several years of experience in translation Each new translator undergoes the following selection process: • evaluation of the resume. • first contact to establish the domains the translator is best qualified in. • test translations sent out for the domains specified. • two small jobs delivered on time and in line with our quality expectations. Apart from these criteria, we expect all our translators to have the following: • strong computer skills. • broadband internet connection. • e-mail address. • mobile phone. • CAT tool proficiency (SDL Trados, SDLX, Wordfast, Transit etc.). • up-to-date antivirus software. • file compression utility (e.g. 7 Zip, WinZip, WinRar). • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
