I like China, not necessarily the government, but it is an absolutely fascinating culture to me.

Modern laptops can give 3 1/2 hours, charging on the UPS can go on with a laptop for an hour to give another 3 1/2 hours, which covers the 8 daylights hours. At night energy saving fluorescent bulbs and the laptop should be able to go for the whole night with efficient solar panels.

I believe Mexico has some pollution, and the crime there might just be too organised. The other day I had some time, so I was looking for a site with software that can predict events daily, monthly and annually based on planetary alignment, unfortunately all I found were the so-called natal charts. Since we used to be pals(occasionally) with my mum, I had all my details, and if astrology is to be believed, I should spend as much time with foreigners or even work abroad. I am also pondering where I should go, maybe the internet will suffice.

I think you underestimate the price of solar panels, as well as the technical and cultural problems to get an affordable internet connection in Ethiopia.  I have some ideas how I could solve these problems, but I would need 6000 - 8000 EUR for a second start.

The problems I hear about Mexico always concerned only Mexico City or the border towns, but we will see.

Concerning astrology, I think it is as reliable as any religious predictions or the I Ching (which I learned from a Canadian in Morocco 30 years ago). They are listing things which happened and how they happened, so it is likely that they will happen again, and in a similar way.  The benefit is that they can give you a more detailed idea what can happen at all, and how it usually happens, although the statistical value of these predictions is nil (like: it will rain, or not).

If you are comfortable with the climate in Kenya, I don't see any reason why you should move to another place.

Recently my 86 year old mother bought 3 liter ordinary vitamin juice for EUR 1500.00 (instead of EUR 4.50) on a "Kaffeefahrt" (cheap coach trip combined with a sales show) - I am afraid this industry is a side effect of the aging society, and just like your above link is directly forwarded from "jamesray.com/ask" to "jamesray.com/events/free-seminars.php", these "Kaffeefahrten" usually end up at places very different from the announced ones..

This looks very much like what you can read in most of the job seeking advertisements in German newspapers.  When I read these ads, I always wonder where these guys have been while I went to school or university - maybe on a Kaffeefahrt?
