► NK's RATING & NOTES:  All translators working internationally need to convert one currency to another from time to time. I for one do it practically daily. There are many online converters for the task. They are OK for occasional conversion but I think they are not very convenient for everyday routine work. For this purpose it's better to have a desktop software program. I have spent quite time checking many apps of this kind and finally have made my choice: AB-Euro.

It's a small, nice-looking and very user-friendly proggy. Each time you run AB-Euro it starts from automatically checking the current currency exchange rates via the Internet. It's enough to push your keyboard Enter button anywhere in the app window and the result of the conversion is in your clipboard and you can paste it anywhere you need. AB-Euro also has a small integrated calculator:

I highly recommend AB-Euro though I personally would like the app had a bit more of functionality: for example it would be nice to be able to set a list of several currency pairs that you use most often.
