From what I can find, it's not really possible to come up with a consistent algorithm to reverse strings with more substantial text blocks in Flash ActionScript. Does anyone know of a JPEG/GIF rendering script that can be used with PHP, ASP, or ColdFusion for Arabic text? Meaning, if I have some Arabic text stored in a database, and I want to have it processed as an image, can it be done? If so, then I could load the JPEG into a Flash movie and accept that as a FOL solution. RE:gards, Robert Reinhardt

Dear Robert,
welcome in TC forums,
and sorry for the delay in answering, as you know translators and interpreters may be VERY busy.
I clicked on the link you provided and did not know how to help you. I thought it would consist of just checking if I could see Arabic fonts, but it was something else...
Well, good luck anyhow
Salaam,
Ouadoud

I give an example in:
http://layan.us/write-arabic-in-flash/
I also use it in my website for Muslim And Arab Names at http://muslim-names.us to write arabic using GD2 Library...
And my solution can also work with PhotoShop, Freehand, Corel and All programms dont support Arabic Writing.
Have fun.
