Glad to know that the meeting is still going ahead, too bad I can´t join you - maybe next year.
If it happens to get postponed, let me know - I now have my trip to Glasgow planned for October.

Hi Sabine
Thanks for your care.
I don't know anything about the so called "Glasgow Meetup".
Is it a forum? A conference? A meeting?
And who are permitted to join it?
Thanks again
wafaa

The Glasgoe meeting is a meeting of TC members and colleagues in Glasgow, Scotland. We have not organised a formal programme of events so I can't see it becoming a conference. However, I am open to suggestions as to what we could do. Since Glasgow boats an impressive range of museums, restaurants, galleries, shopping centres, architecture, libraries, a six-floor bookshop (with a decent sized "foreign language" section), coffee shops and general places of interest, I am open to all suggestions. For people who have never been before I recommend at least a couple of the following:
a ride on the clockwork orange (Glasgow's ring subway system);
the Kelvingrove art gallery/museum (free);
the aforementioned massive bookshop;
shopping;
coffee in the Argyle Arcade;
the Science museum;
a ride on the Glasgow Tower (if it is open).

I could even stay in Glasgow for a few days, just in order to enjoy the sunny weather . I think we all must agree on a given date and stick to it. Some people may not be able to come no matter what this date is.

PS: I am just pointing to this fact as weekend flights with Ryanair seem somewhat difficult to get... As an example, there is no flight (available) on Sep 4 and the first (available) return flight is on Sep 8.
