How to translate terms that don´t exist in target language
Hi Everyone,

I'm translating a text from English to Spanish that goes like this:
   - "Lockjaw, as tetanus is commonly called, is caused by a toxin [...]"
How would you translate "lockjaw"? I translated the text like this:
   - "Lockjaw", como se conoce comunmente al tétanos, [...]"

Could you give me some input as to how to translate these kind of terms?

Many thanks,
Raquel
