What's your annual (net) income?
I hope this hasn't been asked before but I was just wondering how much we (as translators) are earning on average per year. I would prefer replies from colleagues who have no other jobs and have to live on what they earn as translators.

Taking a more laid-back approach allows you to more care about and enjoy what you do. Provided, of course, that by devoting less time to work and charging accordingly more you can maintain the same standard of living. For the time being, I do not complain about the quality of life in France.
